Dr. Rebekah G Gross - MD

Dr. Gross is a board-certified gastroenterologist who is committed to preventative gastrointestinal care through colon cancer screening and therapeutic endoscopy. She treats a wide a range of gastrointestinal disorders, such as GERD, colon polyps, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Celiac Disease, gallbladder dysfunction, constipation, gastrointestinal infection, and Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

Dr. Gross received her bachelor’s degree from Stanford University. She completed her medical studies at Yale University School of Medicine, where she was named to Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society. Upon graduation, she was granted the Miriam Kathleen Dasey Award for the student who, by strength of character, personal integrity, and academic achievement, gives promise of fulfilling the ideal of the compassionate physician.

Dr. Gross went on to pursue her internship and residency training in internal medicine at The Massachusetts General Hospital. She then returned home to New York to pursue fellowship training in gastroenterology at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Upon completion of the program, she was honored to receive the Eric R. Lemmer Memorial Award.

Dr. Gross has held faculty appointments at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and NYU Langone Medical Center, teaching medical students and residents, and training the next generation of GI physicians. She is currently an Attending Physician with privileges at NYU Langone Medical Center.
