Peter S. Kim, M.D.

Dr. Kim is the founder and managing partner of Gotham Gastroenterology. He is an Attending Physician at NYU Langone Medical Center and Lenox Hill Hospital and is involved in the teaching of gastroenterology fellows. He is board certified in Gastroenterology. He received his B.A. from Cornell University and his medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine.

He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and was selected as chief medical resident, and a fellowship in gastroenterology at Lenox Hill Hospital. He was the recipient of the prestigious John O. Vieta Award and also received the Department of Medicine Award for Academic Excellence. He went on to complete his gastroenterology fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital.

Dr. Kim is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, the Medical Society of the State of New York and the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.
